THE STORY
About the club
ALSMM is the school's largest crew — the engine room of OKGS's scientific spirit. Its brief, in the club's own words: remove the fear of math and science, prepare students for quizzes and olympiads, and organise the annual science fair. The club grew out of a wish to take math and science beyond the textbook. Its weekly quizzes, hands-on experiments and the yearly science fair now draw students from across the whole of Kalai upazila — not only OKGS classrooms. The club's creed hangs in the laboratory: not memorised lessons — the habit of asking, testing and discovering with your own hands.
